Among the papers published in the issue of June, September and December of the preceding year and in the issue of March of the given year, the Editorial Board of JMF selects a total of five papers of excellence, one each from the areas of macro-monetary economics, international finance and foreign exchange, financial institutions, finance and capital market and financial policy, provided that the Paper of Excellence may be selected at the meeting of the Editorial Board if there are difficulties in the selection of Paper of Excellence due to insufficient number of papers in some areas.

The Paper of Excellence Awards shall be presented at the regular general meeting of members in June and prize money of KRW 5 million will be awarded to each paper of excellence.
